So I have decided to just pick up with our current life and not worry that I missed oh about a month of our life on the blog. I have to be super quick because I hear a little person who is waking up! This is Hub and I at a wedding last weekend. Love the dress just wish I wasn't busting out of it!
Elijah's 1st Ice Pop experience! He is super determined to make it work. We now eat them all the time!

A little story on how our family is about to grow! Hub and I started thinking back in the winter we would like to add one more family member. So we started to end the prevention and see what would happen. If nothing happened in a month or two we were going to go back to preventing. In the past we have had some fertility issues, but apparently not this month! We were excited to add a new little person to our family. I was still getting used to the idea of hauling around 3 kids on a regular basis, but I knew I could do it.
Fast forward to Wednesday. We went in for a normal 10 week appt. and the Dr. could not find the heartbeat, which was not totally abnormal for my previous pregnancies. So he wrote the script and we were headed in for an ultrasound. The earliest appt. they could get was Thursday at 2:30 so hub took a half day. We head in for the ultrasound and I was a little nervous that something was wrong or that I might have had a miscarriage. Just kidding! I saw the tech move the ultrasound around and I immediately saw two sacs and was like WOW.... So began our adventure of adjusting to the thought of having two babies!! So we will now be the parents of four not just three. So begins our journey to a family of 6!

Wrapping up Feb.
I know it has been forever since I have updated!!! So I deiced that I should just update in pictures...

E moved into a toddler bed!!! Yeah we got rid of one crib. It was a bittersweet day, but I was ready! E loves his new bed except he has been getting up pretty early since he has made the transition!

Valentines Day 2012

My little loves!
They were so cute yesterday... we started our day with heart shaped pb and jelly sandwiches...We headed to playgroup at the church and then back home to our sitter/friend Rachel in order for me to head back into work. For dinner we had heart shaped pancakes, turkey bacon, and pink eggs which I missed getting a picture of!
After the little loves went to bed, Hub and I had a little chocolate fondue with a great conversation. It was lovely! We exchanged gifts and had a lovely time.

Wokring on the Part-Time basis
I am linking in up with Kelly's Korner today... Yes, I know I should have done it yesterday. This week I have been working a ton! I work part-time as the director of Kids Ministry at our church. I took this job after we decided it was better for me to work part-time than work as a family relief houseparenting at a local residential school that my hub is the music teacher at. My days and weeks are packed now that my hours are spread out over the week and not all full-filled in a weekend. I am enjoying my work and the kids I get to spend time with each week. It has been a shift with my kids and time I get to spend with them.
Some ideas I do to keep me on track during the week:
- Plan my meals out on Sun.
- Pack kids up the night before
- Do all of my laundry and cleaning one day a week
- Coupon one night a week for my shopping trips
Hope you enjoyed some of my little ideas on working part-time!

A Really Hard Day...
This sweet little boy is a joy parent! He is smart, funny, kind, and loves a good party like his momma! But we are slowly starting to figure him out....This week brought a whole new set of challenges and really hard stuff.A couple of months ago Hub and I decided that E needed some more therapy then he was already receiving. So we checked out a great facility that would be a lot closer to where we were moving. We finally had the appointment on Monday. It was hard and cried my eyes out! The evaluator threw out there CP again and MRI again... Remember is he is bright... so where is this all coming from. During his time being evaluated he climbed right up to a walker and walked pretty far. I have to keep reminding myself that he does not have a terminal illness or will not die from this, but it is so hard to hear that your child might never walk or be like normal kids. He might never be able to get away from a walker or have full independence.
This hit me like a ton of bricks...It reminded me that God is faithful and he is always walking along side of us. Elijah is a constant reminder that I need to trust God's plan and not worry about my own plans.
